DAA at WSXX – Brought to South Africa by Shooting Stuff
The IPSC Handgun World Shoot is the biggest event in Practical Shooting. Held once every three years, it brings together the best shooters from across the globe. In 2025, South Africa had the honour of hosting the 20th edition of this flagship match, and Shooting Stuff was proud to be part of it.

For Shooting Stuff, the World Shoot was about continuing to bring the world’s best shooting gear to South Africa, giving our local shooting community access to the same products trusted internationally.

That’s why Shooting Stuff represented Double Alpha Academy (DAA) at WSXX, and why we have been selling Double Alpha products for more than 20 years.

Double Alpha is brought to you in South Africa by Shooting Stuff.

We don’t just say it — we proved it. The gear was here, the shooters were here, and Shooting Stuff was right in the middle of it. Shooting Stuff ran the DAA stand in the vendor area, a hub that was always the busiest spots in the vendor tent. See the activity in the below video.

From the first day of the pre-match to the closing weekend, shooters from all over the world stopped by to see the gear, ask questions, and pick up the products they trust.

The stand was a sales counter and a meeting place. It was where conversations happened in many languages, where new friendships were made over shirt exchanges, and where shooters swapped stories about their World Shoot experience.

Shooting Stuff showcased a comprehensive range of Double Alpha products: the Lynx Belt system, Flex Holster, and X-Ray mag pouches were stand-outs, drawing attention from shooters who wanted gear that was modular, tough, and competition-ready.

The CED 7000 Gen2 Shot Timer was another highlight, especially with our daily giveaways that created plenty of buzz around the range. Shooters who earned full-score “Double Alpha” stages could enter the draw, and every day brought a new winner.

Running the DAA stand gave us a unique perspective. We saw many enthusiastic competitors and the wider IPSC family — supporters, range officials, coaches, and families — all stopping by to take part in the World Shoot experience. Every visit reminded us why IPSC is more than just a sport. It’s a community.

Now that WSXX has ended, the story continues. The same gear that turned heads at the DAA stand is available in our store in Centurion and online.

If you saw it at the World Shoot, you’ll find it at Shooting Stuff.
