The Vihtavuori N165 Rifle Propellant is an excellent choice of powder when aiming for exceptional long-range performance.

The N165 is a universal powder for magnum calibers with heavier bullets, working especially well in 338 Lapua Mag with 250gr bullets. A wide variety of calibers can be handloaded using this powder, including 6.5 X 55 SE all the way to 416 Rigby.

Vihtavuori’s N165 features a powder grain size of 1.3mm in length and 1.0mm in diameter with a very slow burning rate, making it an excellent choice for long-range shooting and big game hunting.
