The Mark 7 Optical Decapping Sensor for RL1100 is part of the decapping process in Station #2 that pushes out the old primer. This is an important accessory for the Mark 7 Autodrive for the Dillon RL1100, CP 2000, RL 1050 and Super 1050 presses. The positive decap sensor uses optical recognition to determine if a spent primer is removed and if no spent primer falls, the machine stops after the stroke, making it easy to remove the impacted case.
