Hornady LnL Bullet Comparator Insert #41 (.416)

The Hornady LnL Bullet Comparator Insert #41 (.416) is a way to measure rounds from the ogive to provide consistent and precise measurements.

It is not reliable to measure cartridge length across the bullet tip as common variations of up to .025” exist from one round to another, that is where the bullet comparator comes in.

The bullet comparator not only measures from the ogive to provide accurate and consistent measurements but can also be used to check uniformity of bullets from base to ogive.

Attach the Hornady Bullet Comparator easily to the blade of your caliper and use interchangeable inserts to measure from the bullet ogive (available in 17 to 45 cal)

Used in conjunction with the O.A.L gauge, the bullet comparator provides the ultimate in precision measurement.
