The Redding (straight-wall) Bullet Seating Die is a single conventional die to seat the bullet—and optionally at the same time—apply a crimp when reloading handgun ammunition, or straight walled rifle calibres.

This conventional die has standard threads (7/8" x 14tpi), so can be used on most reloading machines. It is primarily intended for single-stage reloading.
Case lube is not required on seating dies. In general, as part of a progressive reloading process, we recommend using an easy-to-apply, spray-on case lubricant like Smooth Glide (SSB-SGCL).
Case lube saves wear and tear on the cartridge cases and your reloading equipment; you'll feel the significant reduction in force required to operate the press!
This calibre is part of Redding's Series A category. Dies in Series A represent the most popular calibres Redding produces and are thus offered at the lowest prices. Dies in Series B through D are less and less popular, and correspondingly more expensive to produce. Custom dies in most calibres are also available on request.
