The CZ 75 TS (Tactical Sports) is a locked breech pistol, designed for sport shooting. It is offered in two fundamental variants, for IPSC Standard Gun division and for IPSC Open Gun division.
Based on the proven CZ 75 heritage, the TS is bigger with a full dust cover (the frame ahead of the trigger guard), and differs from the original CZ 75 in having only a single action trigger mechanism. The match trigger is adjustable.
The magazine catch is extended for easier operation and the bottom of the grip includes an integral magazine well for easier and quicker reloads.
The Czechmate model (for IPSC Open) is offered in 9x19, either 9mm Luger or 9mm Major, with a four-port compensator. The Czechmate models include a C-More red-dot sight installed on a single-sided CZ mount, and are available in a choice of all-black or colourful 'Parrot'. The Czechmate model can quickly be reconfigured for "Standard Gun", by removing the compensator and optical sight (and installing the included steel sights). The colourful 'Parrot' includes three red duralumin basepads, short thin yellow-orange grips, violet cocking lever, red trigger, blue scope mount and a green magazine well.
